looks nice but in the vid description it says forget pistons, how did yinz get it to run?

Now they will know why they are afraid of the dark. Now they will learn why they fear the night.

Kit in the above car was built.
But if you do not go with engine internals. You can do a Kit for anywhere from $5000-$9,000 Depending on if you are Doing Custom Turbo Manifold, Exhaust, AEM, Fuel, Injectors etc etc etc... If you go with better internals price will go north as you pick parts.

In this car we did a Rebuild with ARP hardware and Forged pistons. machined the block and rebuilt the head. Full treatment.

Please call us if you have any questions... I wanted to post this for Granite state dyno and tune.

Once IS300 comes back to GRANITE STATE DYNO AND TUNE with a higher rate waste gate spring it should make some REAL impressive numbers. I know Alex will make it safe and powerfull.

It has a Re-built Bottom with Wiseco TT Forged Pistons. As long as the owner takes care of it, should last a long time.

That IS will be extremely reliable as a daily. The rear diff is the only real weak link left. It has an R154 already, and the motor is stout!
Once we get it to hold a solid 18psi, it should make mid 400's and be a real screamer. Even at 13psi and 360whp/410wtq it hits hard and pulls like a freight train. The owner almost pooped himself when he first hit it. He's used to a 215crank HP stock IS until now.

I'm in the same boat Ben.... Always loved these and then to find one in a manual is hitting the lottery. Spending say $6000.00 or so for a safe 350+whp with goobs of tq. I bet that car would really move even at the 13psi setting. Any drags time and mpg guesses as it sits right now at the 360whp??? (thinking lower 12's @112-115mph window)

                              I think you're spot on. Average 400-420whp supra/SC/IS goes low 12's/high 11's @ 116-118. Car should average 22-25mpg.
