    Looking for input

As it stands we can tune a very broad range of vehicles, but as always, we are looking to expand.

Currently we tune the factory ECU's in the following
    -GM
    -Subaru
    -Mitsubishi

We also offer tuning services on the following

    AEM (V1 and V2)
    Haltech (any model)
    Apex-i Power FC
    Megasquirt
    Pro-EFI
    Retro-Tek
    COBB Access Port (Race tuner)
    SCT (Only certain Ford models)
    Hondata
    NisTune
    DSM Link
    Greddy Emanage (Blue and ultimate)
    PowerMod
    MAP ECU
    Carburation (boost/Na)

There's more we can do, but that's a good start.

On the list to be added.

    -UpREV (Nissan/Infinity)
-Quarter Horse/MOATES (5.0L mustang and other old school PCM's)

    My question is this.
-What would you guys feel we need to add to our line up?
-What do you see a big need for in this area?

I'd look into tuning diesels. Not many places do it.

I will need opinions and some help selecting the euro software/company/hardware if I go that route. I have no doubt in my mind I can tune them to perfection, its just a matter of getting the interface and learning the language. Audi/VW/Porsche/merc are all in my scope of things to come.

I have the SCT and the optical pickup to do diesel's already. My issue is the mess. Even with tubes, the filthy exhaust they produce is quite annoying. I may get into them though should the need be there.

Hondata and K-pro are already in my laptop, so those are doable already.
Ecutek was talked about, but no one runs it, and for the common platform (Evo/sub), its a waste of money.
Flashpro I don't know anything about but will look.

Most euro just get a ecu flash...

              REVO
              Unitronic
              APR
              GIAC
              C2

Those would be some of the companies to look into , I believe REVO, Unitronic AND C2 are tunable not sure on Apr and giac . But don't quote me on it. Swift Motorsport in CT used to offer a discounted rate on a dyno if you bought a flash. So you could get a baseline then flash and run again and see the actuall gains and depending on the flash you could tweek it a little. I bet if you could offer somehing like that people would come, I was going to drive to CT for it.

              For more highly modified Euros...

A full euro stand alone ( also can be a piggy back) is Lugtronic. Possibly running that in my Corrado.

Alex, when your open i want to dyno the truck again. It was on Petes dyno and he wasn't dynoing it correctly so the numbers were wack. The truck already has the reflector on the balancer.

.. That's why I said why not euro. Granted there are the few that do euro and c2 doesn't tune anymore anyway. Its " United " now, but regardless I would MUCH rather have a DYNO tune then a "Flash", with dyno tunes you can see that your car has a healthy A/R and know its not going to blow up, with flashes i don't know what my a/r is and i would feel much safer with a tuner specifically tuning a file for MY car, not every same model as mine.

Plus these companys charge up the ass for a ' flash ' idk I feel as a lot of people would be in the same boat, I want to see a specific file for my car, and what my car puts down to the wheels and the A/R i'm getting as well. Kinda sick of the whole " chip " thing.

Your fidgeting that our ECUs Arnt exactly tunable like a evi or sti... the flashes just trick the computer into seeing certain paramiters..

Out of thoes reflash company's unitronic is the only one that let's you finely tweek the settings.

Revo let's you cange some aspects but only in increments that are allowed. Example you set them using 0-9. 0 being the least performance oriented and 9 being a race setting.

I will be making some calls this and next week to talk to the different companies. If we can work something out, then the VW/Audi guys can plan to have their cars dyno tuned at GSD. I have a strong feeling that I will be met with resistance from most, but hoping at least one of them can do what I really need them to do. Problem I've noticed right off the bat is that even when shops claim to have dyno tuned your car, it's just a flash. Sometimes it's a minorly changed flash, but regardless, it's not like a Subaru/Mitsu tune where every parameter has been tweaked.

Once it's up and running, come on over Raul. We'll get it on there and dyno'd proper.
