    GI: CF wraps?

As many of you know, I haven't really been offering wraps since there isn't enough interest in them to justify the expense of keeping the material on the shelf. Well recently I've had a couple inquiries into carbon fiber wrapped hoods and roofs. The CF wrap material is the most expensive they offer and would be a large expense for me to put up. I'd be willing to get it if I could get a little more interest. Would anyone here be interested in having anything wrapped in CF vinyl? Each job would be priced individually but hoods and roofs would be in the $250-$300ish range. This would be done using 3M 1080-CF12 black carbon fiber wrap vinyl.

I would need to see the lip first. The vinyl would need to be ordered and has a 10 day lead time so I wouldn't be able to do it before the cruise.

I LOVED the CF wrap on the roof of my cobalt. Only thing I will say is to TAKE YOUR TIME on the big sections, because when you stretch the vinyl to correct bubbles/wrinkles etc, it distorts the weave pattern of the "CF", and it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I would think the streching would be hard not to do on really detailed wheels like BBS wheels or like steves wheels with the contours

Ya, BBS would not work. Wheels like mine would work fine though.
