Thanks , like I added anything car or mechanical related that.could some how incorporate the name would work. Something with a lift maybe , he just wants something better then a couple wrenches next to the name you know.

I kinda like the engine one. I think it should be simpler though. You want a logo to be able to be a silhouette and still be recognizable. It shouldn't depend on colors or shading to make it what it is. Of course, those are just general guidelines.

Absolutely. What color you looking for? Knowing the font would be a HUGE help but I'm sure I can find it (or something close) otherwise. Shall I assume you're looking for them on Saturday?

I've got the silver, purple, and white. I don't have gold in stock. I've got a golden yellow but it's not like the metallic gold that you're probably looking for.

If it's the air strip you're looking for, here's a PDF of it drawn up pretty nice. I don't know the path that cars would take so I don't know how much of it you'd like in the decal. You could mark up that image and indicate where you'd want the vinyl cut.
