    Hello From RI

Hi guys ive met a bunch of you last year at the fall kanc cruise. My names chris i drive a 92 nissan 240sx. im the ugly flat black nissan. Damn i need paint and a new front bumper.

Last fall i had an sr20 in it that was pretty much stock. My down pipe fell off right around lunch time on the cruise and everyone was eager to help i think someone lent me a couple tools and maybe even a coat hanger haha, but hey it worked for getting me home. The next day after that cruise i pulled my turbo out to fix the studs that had backed out but my friend convinced me to upgrade to a larger turbo and he'd buy my stock one. I agree'd So he hooked me up with wholesale prices on a gt2871r and then bought my turbo for about $250. I didnt really drive it much after the new turbo cause i knew id need a tune and i just didnt have the money plus it was time to park it for the winter.
Hood popped fixing my exhaust lol

After the fall cruise i could not wait for spring to meet up and do it all over again however it was a complete failure. Maybe about a month or two before the spring cruise i had pulled my motor with intentions of just upgrading to arp headstuds and putting a cosworth gasket on. To my surprise when i pulled the head i had a decent sized gash in cylinder number 1 from rusting i guess. So i tore it down sent it to the machine shop put larger wiseco forged pistons in, bought larger injectors, z32 maf, and nistune for tuning. I literally put the engine together the night before the 2010spring cruise. That night me and my friends pulled an all nighter putting my car backtogether so i could drive it up with them. at about 6:45am it was time for the first start. Turned the key and all i could hear was the starter spinning so i thought i had a bad starter. We did everything we could with no luck. At that point my friends had to go if they wanted to make it on time for the cruise i stayed home to mess with the car some more. Turns out i left the sparkplugs out lol. i put the plugs in and it fired right up but by that time all i wanted to do was sleep and my friends were already in nh haha.

But it doesnt end there after building the engine i still couldnt afford tuning so while it was parked i pulled the engine again to clean up the engine bay. Anyways long story short while the sr20 was still out my friend sent me a craigslist ad to a wrecked 02 camaro with 400whp running 11.4 quarter miles that still ran fine for $3900. A deal i didnt want to pass up so now the engine has found a new home in my nissan.

This story is missing a lot of bits and pieces but its for the better. i dont want this to be 298742387 pages long. Pretty much where the car sits now is i just need to install wiring and see if it works if it does ill see you all at 9am on sunday!

More pics and a vid of the camaro doing 11.44

Heres my nissan where the motor now lives.

Also this is my friends bike the kid who bought my stock sr20 turbo and yes my sr20 turbo is now on his bike.

I've always heard of people swapping Ls1's/2's into almost anything but never actually seen one, is there a lot you have to do to pull it off or can you pretty much just drop it in and hook everything back up?

          And oh btw welcome

Thanks for finally putting this post up. These swaps fit in here like stock with the mount kit I bought and wiring was very easy. I've been driving it for a few days and I think 400hp v8's should come in everything lol
