the gun idea isn't a good response, they probably have them as well, and being out numbered and surrounded isn't a place where you want to have a gun, less you have good cover, sounds like you didn't. Hope they get the assbags, i'm sure they will be bragging somewhere about it.

Sorry if this is off topic, but i dont know where else to put it.
Some of you may know me, some may not. Last year and the year before i was driving a gray 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. I recently bought a black 97 M3.
Its sad to say that you guys wont likely be seeing me around much anymore (too bad we dont have a Goodbye Mat thread) because I cant stand what the automotive community has become.
Tonight I was en route to meet up with Rich at the park by the Radisson. Coming down So Willow, a group of 3 hondas/acuras cut me off coming out of the (you guessed it) Dunkin Donuts parking lot. I did what most of us would do, got pissed. They were cruising down south willow in both lanes at 25mph, revving engines, quick drags, then slowing back down to 25mph. I moved over to pass when I had the chance, and the lowered early 90's accord/integra painted with primer cut me off to keep me out of the lane, so I moved back over and sped up to keep him out of the lane. he and his buddies ( i think there were 3 of them in the car) were yelling at me but i couldnt understand them. I yelled "stop being a f***ing a**hole".
Next thing I know, the nose of his car is in front of mine and i'm hard on the brakes. he stops. theres a truck behind me, and nowhere to go.
his buddy gets out and starts kicking my hood in. he gets out. I get out (bad move). i start to back off (with an assault charge on my record from 2 years ago, i couldnt fight back at the risk of going back to jail and my 2 years good behavior is only 3 weeks from over).
the guys buddy (maybe 200-210lbs vs. my 145lbs) gets a few hits on my face, jaw, and side of my head. meanwhile, the driver is smashing out my rear window, and stealing my keys (the only set i have). driver yells to buddy to get in the car, they split. 10-15 onlookers drive off without taking a plate, calling the cops, or stepping in to help me out. no witnesses stayed.
i understand that i may have provoked some of the situation, but i think the reaction was unbelievable.
also, i dont want to cause issues here on the site or with anyone who might know this guy, or post personal issues in this particular thread, i just thought this might get some attention, and the police want to find the guy, and i want to press charges. so if any of you have information regarding a car with the following description, please PM me.

90's Honda Accord or Acura Integra (i think)
-all primer, no paint
-lowered, drags its rear end under acceleration, sparks from under the car
-dont think it had a wing
-exhaust (the ricey kind)

Was the primer greenish brown? If so, I see that car around all the time.

+1 but wrap them in electrical tape, that way you don't have to spend time cleaning blood off the bats, and it doesn't leave stick residue on the bats when removed.

But honestly that sucks man. I don't even know you, but after reading that story it only reconfirms my idea that all is lost on society. You did the right thing by not fighting back. Having a gun might have helped or hurt you, but in that situation all the officer needs to know is that were in fear of your life. Hopefully you can get the info you need to help the cops find these guys. Or get the info you need and not tell the cops. And do as you please.
