    Somewhat new from Southern, NH

    Hi everybody,

Although you've probably ready my posts (as few as they may be), you probably don't remember my name from the spring cruise. Once again my name is Giorgi Chikhradze but everyone calls me George. I went to the spring cruise and overall had a great time. Though I've been a member since this spring, I haven't really posted much but all that is changing since I started to thoroughly go through the forum and get to know the colorful characters that make up this community of car enthusiasts. Anyways, feel free to ask me any question. I hope to get to know you guys in person in this coming cruise.

The only one still around. The S60R. I wish I could afford to have them all. Even though this is way faster than any of those, I miss them so much.

I will clear up the signature so that people don't think I'm a rich college boy lol. All of these cars other than the 1st one have been bought through hard work and not through nonexistent rich parents.

You have to check out the S60R interior. It's gorgeous. Especially the sapphire blue gauges. Sort of dangerous because you want to keep staring at them. Also, v50 T5 is relatively slow compared to the competitors such as the Subaru Forester XT. I love Volvo sedans but I can't get into their larger cars.

How about some pics.. ? I'm not good with the model #s .. I saw a.couple wagons I liked then spent a couple days figuring out it was a v50 sport wagon. The t5 was still like 220 HP if I remember right, not to bad for a wagon . But like I said I.spent all hat time looking it up, was even looking for them on autotrader and that's when I saw the interior.. lol.. no go for me.

Just looked it up... but isn't the s60 a larger Volvo? I think its bigger then the v50..lol looks it anyway. I like the s40 and the v50 to me looks like a wagon version of the s40.. am I wrong. ?

S60 is the mid sized sedan. S80 is the large sedan. S40 is the compact sedan. V70 is S60 wagon and V50 is the S40 wagon IIRC.

By larger car I meant their SUVs and wagons not sedans. The S60 is a medium sized sedan but I think Volvo did a good job on the design. You are right on the v50 being a wagon version of the s40 though. However I don't think 5 people would be able to comfortably fit in a S60. In a v50, I think its a different story.

If the s40 is smaller then a s60 and the v50 is a wagon s40 .... the v50 would still be smaller then an s60. So a v50 would not be a "larger slower volvo " as you say. Just because its a wagon doesn't make it a 6000lb SUV .. lol so if 5 people don't fit in a s60 comfortably there not going to fit in a v50 cause a v50 is just a s40 with a hatch. So same people space with more cargo room.
