I had the cold feet about going into a convertible, BUT dont regret it now. Its great on sunny days.
Quirk: Whats wrong with the jeep? She was badass. 4" Rubicon Express Short Arm, 1" Body Lift, Nth degree tummy tucker, Nth degree oil pan, Kilby gas tank skid, Wilderness front bumper, rear bumper and roof rack, dual optima yellowtop batteries, on board air, rear wheel well tuffy boxes, among other shtuff.
I hate people that do their jeeps up tacky like, but mine was done with no expense spared. I guess its a matter of opinion?
Heres my old mans jeep.

what axles? you said you had axles (Lift, axles, gears, tires, racks, rockers, batteries, winch, bumpers, etc.)
but lift tires and on-board air is not built to the hilt. Guess im just jaded from all the rigs i wheel with and talk to. I too sold my TJ (60 front 14 rear, longarm, flatfendered etc etc etc on 38s) cause it was to much for the street.

It was a rubicon so it had stock 44's with 4.56 gears. My fathers is an X with the 30 up front and a super 35 in the rear and 4.56's, but he doesnt off road it much anymore. i cant stand 30's but let me tell you, his has seen some rough stuff. Its been everything he has ever needed to negotiate blacks at the old Paragon in PA and Rausch Creek in PA. But, since i sold mine, he uses it mostly for backyard bashing.
Long arm and 38's sounds pwetty (insert drool here) but i couldnt afford it. I would probably only do a clayton long arm with BFG crawlers or KM2's. But dont forget, it was my daily driver, so i could only do sooo much and be able to get out at work (8 miles from my house) and not have a neckache, headache, or brown underwear.

You mean you cants stand dana 35s, cause 30s are pretty stout... Because they are called Dana turdy5's for a reason. Oh so you didnt change the axles and gears if you kept the stock axles....
my jeep is stock

lol, the gears were 4.10's and i changed them to 4.56's. and the 30's suck too, especially when you have them on 35's with a lunchbox up front. You know anyone looking for a Wilderness Roof Rack or Warn 9.5ti winch? Both in great condition.
And yeah, nice stocker. what are those, 29" tires?
