          I won't say that I haven't thought about it. The car is just so nice in its stock form, and the engine bay is showroom quality clean. I like it so much, I almost want to buy a second one to make a track car, and do a V6/V8 swap.

          With the short nose crank problem always in the back of my head, it might be pretty likely that if I ever do have to replace the motor in the car, i'll just get the "big" 1.8l.

            welcome.. thats a clean miata!

            ive owned 3 of them and "the general" is still driving my first one around

            a healthy stock miata is still a blast to drive

            you can check up on my build of my 91 miata here


            im sure we will have a couple other miatas coming... tabby and tesseracter from miata.net came last fall

                  I just read your build thread, it's too bad about the rush problem. Did you ever find another miata to drop the engine into?
