I checked out STI at Team Nissan not to long ago.

Hope you got it for a good price for yourself, it was really clean when I looked at it and again welcome

i went to nissan and looked at that sti, inquired about it, sat in it, started it, inspected it, and then i told them they were on crack for wanting as much as they wanted for it.

It wasnt even tuned right when i saw it and it had the stock exhaust and #!#!#!#! back on it and they said they couldnt rev it past 4k because the testpipe and exhaust and etc were off it and it needed to be retuned.

yet they wanted 25k for it...with 40k miles or whatever it had...

im hoping they retuned it? and you got a good deal on it?

ouch, I didnt inquire that much about it. All I know is the sales guy told me it was traded for a GG Evo IX.

The STi isn't perfect and I got lods to do to her.
My Z needs more work than I can shake a stick at... Two big upgrades will be TT swap with internals and a 5 or 6 speed swap
I'm not car stupid, I know my stuff, but I'm refering to this site for most my upgrades in both cars. Just a little FYI

Is that a stock turbo STI? What turbo is on it?

he said it had a turbo upgrade, but i'm starting to think it's stock. it's tuned for 100 octane but i need to do a retune to 95 or something a little more economical. i haven't really decided if it would be better to retune or leave it alone for more fun race nights.

welcome. look in to that turbo too, I'm curious if its stock or not. 350 is a lot if it is.

Yeah 350whp would be ALOT with the stock turbo so I'm curious to see if it's got maybe a 18G or 20G or something .....

i think just driving it it feels dif than a stock. The tuning map is tuned for 100 octane and it had a straight down-pipe. now it's cat'ed. there's alot of things i need to fix with her. but i'll look into that turbo.

Then you should know that..

#1. If your car is tuned for 100oct and your running around on 93 like its ok.. thats not right..
#2. A vf39 will not make 350whp. period.
#3. Going catted from uncatted will only lose about 3 hp on a stock STI turbo
#5. Did you notice I skipped #4
#6. Go get tuned. For 93 octane before your pistons decide to say **** you.

actually he traded the sti in for a black evo X...its behind nissan all the time...i talked to him about it.

#7. We dont have 95 octane....its 87,89,91 (on occasion) and 93....and you cant buy 100 at pumps, other than maybe a handful.
