Here's the story. Seeing I'm new to the scene I've been out trying to meet people. Saw him passing by and called him over to talk cars. He seemed to be all about his car (no offense but you were) so I asked him if he wanted to see what his car had. Took them out on 293 and ran 3 times. Truth be told, this was my first time doing this so I missed on the first start (the three beep thing). Once I knew the deal, I took the last two. I wasn't necessarily in it to win, I just like to drive. Besides, my car is really just BPU so I know there are cars out there that will smoke mine, but it's fun none the less. I'm sure I'll see you again Blackout. I'm interested to see how that runs with that upgraded turbo you were talking about.

Just read your 14 psi problem... Are you breaking up? My old TT BPU supra started breaking up after 14psi. Had to get 1 step colder plugs and she was golden!!2007 z06

Yeah unfortunately I think I've got another issue. I was coming back from RI the other day and it broke up. While it's set for 1.3 bar it boosts as high as 1.5 (not good for stockers) and is NEVER consistent. I had it pressure tested and NO leaks. The turbo's spool smooth and hard. BC is a bit old so I'm wondering about the solenoid and/or the actuator... Any thoughts?04 Tahoe Z71: Daily Driver

The stock wastegate will only go to like 23 ( if i remember correctly) PSI. Which I use to run at NED. Pull the hose right off the wastegate and let her scream!2007 z06

I appreciate the feedback but it's a bad idea for stock turbos. While they can handle upwards of 24 psi it's really only safe to runt them consistently at around 18psi which is what my bc is set for. Running them higher than that will kill the turbo's pretty quick and with such low mileage on the car I really don't want to go doing that (though it would be a good excuse to upgrade...) It's killing me cuz I'm so close to getting it running right where I want it.The stock wastegate will only go to like 23 ( if i remember correctly) PSI. Which I use to run at NED.
