    New guy with old muscle

Im in southern NH, I have a 1973 Charger with a 318, Ram sport with a 5.9 and gibson exhaust, and a built Harley. The trucks the daily driver, I was thinking about taking the charger on the kangamangus trip but I dont know that I want to go that far after just putting the car on the road. It was last registered in 05 and thats some serious miles to drive in a car that I dont know is reliable yet.

Yea me too, it depends how soon I get it on the road. I figure if I go through a few tanks and not break down I should be good. Its looking pretty haggred right now, still has a lot of body work going on.

          Heres a few bad pictures.

Its actually a S.E, I found a build sheet on it, came from the factory black, had A/C (still in there climate system doesnt seem to be wired), rear defrost, rally dash, bench seat, 909 tranny, keystone rims. I also got the origional owners manual for it which is worth some decent cash, I seen them for around $100 on ebay. Its pretty stock for now, exhaust is cut at the y-pipe. Im planning on doing a 440 swap soon, this winter I'm probably going to strip it down and do a restoration on it.

I heard the new 5.7 hemis are not a true hemi like the ones back in the day, if I remember correctly the heads are a lot different. I'll probably pull a 440 out of a old rv, they usually had 727 trannys which will bolt in. I'd have to make it breath better to be in a muscle car but it should wake up. The 318 in it's numbers match so I won't be getting rid of that.

No it was my phone with dirt on the lens lol. The harleys bored, ported, dropped 4" with progressive shocks, chopped rear fender, 16" apes, stainless lines, fowards, few other things I'll post pics soon.

Nice car. I'd spend my money on some body work and paint before getting into the motor though. No one can disrespect a numbers matching Mopar, but a nice paint job will do that old iron proper!

Hell, my 68 Chevelle had a 307 in it. Headers and some loud straight 3" exhaust made people think it was more than that, but once I had it painted jet black, no one even cared anymore about the tiny motor. It was just a clean, nice Chevelle.
