Hey guys,

I saw this site on newenglandsubarus.com I can't wait for out what everyone has for sweet rides.

I just bought a 2000 Subaru Impreza RS and would like to go to the Kancamagas Cruise in May. Quick question, my car looks pretty stock right now, it wouldn't be much to look at at the cruise. How many people go that don't have the greatest rides yet?

The cruise is open to any car no matter what it looks like. Last fall there was a Civic hatch on the cruise with a coffee can welded to the tail pipe. LOL. Still a fun time to go for a good ride for with a great group of cars and people.

OT: How was the fire in Alton Bay? I have seen some pics on the web, but wondering of you saw it in person.

I like the RS because is it a rarity in my eyes. I just think there are too many people buying up WRXs. I want a Subaru, but wanted to be different from the crowd.

The Alton Bay fire was a sight to see. I live 2 mi. from the burn site. I lost power first, then I see tons of smoke. The wind was so bad that day. It was horrible running that morning in the wind, yes, I am a runner. As far as damage, there really isn't as much damage as they projected. Sure they said 40 cottages, but they are shacks right next to each other. The burn area really isn't too big.
