    Not new.. but .. new.

    Hey everyone.. I've actually been on this site since basically day one when Neal told me to 'check out his new site'. For whatever reason, I never got into it, but hey, here I am. Probably wouldn't have if I didn't run into Shawn over at the vortex.

    Anyway... When I joined originally, I'm pretty sure I had a 96 MX6.. thing was kind of a piece, but it ran mint and never gave me problems. Then I got a 92 Turbo MR2 (I needed another turbo.. I had 2 turbo 89 MX6s before the 96). It was fast. REAL fast. Until it went crazy and ended up in the woods.. and turned into the ugly duckling flat black peice of junk that was still ridiculously fast. -- In the mean time I had bought 2 more MR2s, a Probe, another turbo MX6, and a celica. I got rid of all of it when I bought my 02 WRX (see sig). I traded that in because I couldn't handle the gas (i regret it wholly.), for my now 05 GTI 1.8T.

    So, thats my life with cars (not counting before the MX6s that is). Otherwise, I'm rocking it out here in Derry/Londonderry workin full time, and schoolin full time, it's hectic. Hopefully I can get some stuff done to the GTI and come to a couple get-togethers you guys have, like the kancamagus cruise.

    Oh well, you better welcome me with open arms, or else. I'm an OG, and thats how it is. -- ok, I'm an OG, but I could care less how you guys feel about me, honestly.

        My dad had a 1989 mx-6 gt that was converted to twin turbos.. As I recall they were decent cars that no one bought for some reason.

            Yea, they were friggen sweet cars. Ugly, but sweet! After I rocked my 89 GT into a tree head-on in a snowstorm it sat for a couple months.. I tore off the front end, had to move it, got on the street, ripped the boost up to 14psi, and roasted the tires through 5th gear. I couldn't blow the damn thing up if I tried. I love those cars.. 145hp 190tq stock. They got out of their own way, for sure.

            I can't imagine the spool up time on a TT 4-banger, but I'm sure once it got goin, it kept goin!

              Mine's a 93, 5sp V6 of course. Used to own a 95 probe, put that into a pole, bought my car for $300 with blown motor two years ago...took motor/trans from probe, put it into the mazda, best decision of my life.

              When I have the money, spare trans is getting rebuild and LSD, and another motor is getting a rebuild and turbo

                    Well, I've (my brother) got a V6 out of a 94 PGT, if you need any parts. Let me know tho, cause im pretty sure my parents are getting a little upset about it being in the yard, and I dont see it lasting much longer. -- Actually, he's got the whole car (mostly), its an ATX, but a lot of the other parts are interchangable.

                        Not sure if I really need anything. Does he still have the motor?

                        At this point anything I need for my car is either under warentee or MX6 specific.

                          Holy #!#!#!#! October 2006? Where the hell you been? Welcome anyway, I had a breif period where I drove an MX6. I bought it all riced out, just bought it as a DD, but it went through about 4 qt's of oil in the week I owned it and transformed into a cement mixer. HaHa. Hope to see you around.

                            Yep, he does still have the motor. I think he sold a couple things off it, but honestly, I think its still like 98% there.

                            Haha, yea, I told you I was around since the beginning of time. The site was so small then, I didn't bother with it.. cause noone ever talked. Oh well! Obviously, things have changed. -- I'm sure you'll see me around, if not at meets, then driving around.. I drive from Londonderry to Derry to Nashua and back and forth a thousand times a day between home/school/work. I'll post a picture timeline of my car-life soon so you all can keep a look out and rock a wave now and then.
