Double clutching does NOT help during drag racing. You do NOT downshift while drag racing- if you do, you just lost the race. Don't listen to that Fast and Furious crap!

thanks for the Welcome guys. Deff. into all that stuff. I work at a Dodge Dealership and at a shop called Swift Motorsports. Anything with a motor is pretty much my life.

I do indeed own an SRT4, with a GT30r strapped to the head. Pretty nice setup and from all the cars I've owned, this one has turned out to be one of the most fun. FWD is a killer, but I still enjoy driving it.

We were one of the first group of people that put down 300hp on the stock turbo and 380ftlbs of tq. I haven't had a chance to tune the gt30r, but baseline numbers where 360hp 355ftlbs with no fuel controller and running pig rich. Full spool at about 3700rpm and 22lbs of boost.

I attached some pics that I have on my work comp:

thanks! I take it you drive an 06 mazda speed 6?

Looking into getting one for my girl. We had a dyno day a couple weeks back and I was pretty impressed with the car. Average they put down about 220hp to the wheels and one guy with a downpipe managed a little over 240hp. Plus the new styling they took really does the car justice.
