    Ready to roll from NH

Hey everyone, I've technically been a member for this site now for about 2 years but I joined and then forgot about it. I ran into Sean today (drives a R32) and he reminded me about the site so here I am. I've been everywhere but stable over the past couple years but I've finally settled in Hooksett and I'm ready to start my life all over. The only thing that has remained stable in my life has been cars which are my passion. I love cars, I race circle track at all-star speedway in epping and of course run drags when I actually get my fast street cars going. I really want to be part of something, I've lost a lot of friends over the past few years realizing that alcohol was the only thing keeping us friends so I really want to meet a new group of people with something in common. I'm a VW nut, mostly the old ones. I have yet to own a dub newer than 1992 and I've had 12 volkswagens, (I only have 2 right now, lol). Well that's a bit about me, I hope to be able to hang out with some cool people and go on some cool rides all around.

Here's my 87 GTI (sorry, stupid cell pics)

This one is before the euro plate, forglights and a 2 inch drop:

Its a 1.8 8v TT 280 Sport/race cam. TT Dual downpipe, eibach sport/race springs, koni sport struts, 16v sport clutch, (el-cheapo) high-flow exhaust, etc... Probably run about an 18 flat in the 1/4 lol.
    The current list of cars-
    Toys:
    1971 Chevy Sport Van
    1985 Cutlass 327 415hp
    1987 GTI 8v
    1988 Scirocco Racecar
    Purpose:
    1992 Grand Cherokee
    1994 Chevy 1500
    2007 Ram 2500HD

Welcome man. Dub looks really nice, plenty of the vw owners on here. Needs more stretch, poke, and drop looks great though.

Hey everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome! I appreciate the compliments and criticism about the car, I love it. As for my other dub it's an 88 scirocco 16v (originally) but that's my racecar.

Those are my most recent pics of it. That was from a couple weeks ago when I won with it. That's got a 2.0aba block with a 84gti solid lifter/big valve (8v) head, ported with the "g" grind cam. I'm running CIS basic through a Audi big throttle body. It's a "stock" class so all my parts need a VW stamped on them. It moves pretty nicely.

I know i'm a v-dub guy and hondas definitely aren't my thing but I can show love to cars that deserve it and to each is own. I'm a fan of someone willing to put time and effort into a car more than brands. If you like hondas, toyo's, nissans, etc.. it's all good, take care of your ride and let's intertwine the world of tuning. But that's just my philosophy.

The 280 cam isn't too bad on the street honestly. I'm running CIS-e in the GTI so it handles the lobe a little better than something like digifant or x-flow.

Hey Neal, it's been a while since we've talked. We need to get together soon and catch up.
