lol here's one for ya. It's my understanding that the 05 RS and my car have the same engine? It sure seems that way at least.

same basic engine yes but a few minor tweeks.... for one urs has equal length manifold form the factory and i beleive it has active valve control to which is where the more power comes from

oh and from one subie owner to another welcome! any ?s and us three would gladly answer them since were all subie fanatics except adrian (NHaspenTR) who went to the dark side and had a wrx and now owns i dare say a civic....(head down in disapointment)

it was actually reposessed. i had a $630 car payment... without insurance. add on the $240 in insurance and it was intolerable after being a mechanic lost profitability. i was working 2 jobs just to keep it. i decided it wasnt worth it and told them to come get it. not a day goes by that i dont miss it. but i had to do what i did because i was upside down in the loan. never again will i do a 4 year loan without a down payment. life is about learning and thats one lesson ill never forget.

plus i slammed the car into a palm tree when i lived in las vegas. it was never the same after that.

after a while of the air force ill be all set to buy another. hopefully another 06-07 but an STi this time.

and i dont get pulled over. i drive like a grandma most of the time. unless donny (revlimitlaunch) is around. hes terrible luck. bastard. lol.

yea that does suck, best of luck gettin the 06-07 when ya can. I eventually wanna own one too, just need to get a house and pay off my bike and car loan. I know it's gonna be a long while for me until I see the Sti logo in the cluster.
