            Dyno tomorow, i'm stoked

I'm running a Holset H2E turbo that i rebuilt, not particularly hard. Took the compressor housing off yesterday, no oil leaks so i'm happy about that. Changed the jets in the carb again to try to get the A/F ratio down below 12:1. I posted pictures under VB image host, they aren't the best and the sun wasn't out so you can't see the metallic in the paint. If you've ever seen a 2003-2005 350Z it's the same color, the paint was 370 for a gallon. I should be around to post the Dyno results tomorow evening, sorry no engine pics, i was running out of batteries, i'll post more, hopefully some from the dyno as well. Wish me luck.

Dyno results = need blow thru carb

Went to the dyno today, man is it friggin hot out, 97.99 degrees and 29.7% humidity, yuck that was on my 4th pull. The carb can't handle the boost, the metering blocks aren't designed to handle it because even with giant ass jets in it it would still lean out at about 3500. I'm going to do some research but i've heard CSU carbs mentioned so if anyone has any imput please feel free to tell me. now for the good part, not even pushing 6psi cause the dyno didn't have enough load to make it spool up that high, so it was only making 4ish. The two best runs were cut short cause of leaning out to around 13:1 bad, but the 3rd went to 4850 rpm and made 377.85 hp and 412.48 tq. the 4th run went to 5050 rpm and made 396.76 hp and 413.09 tq so my goal of 450 rwhp isn't going to be a problem at all.

watch me at the dyno and see the results on the computer

iff you go to www.performance-dyno.com click on the web cam link on the left side of the page then click the shot button then the playback button and scroll forward to around 15:30 and you'll see my truck on the dyno, i'm there for about an hour and it's all recorded, for the date type in 10/06/2008 if you check it out any later than today, it's kick ass, and you can even watch the computer screens and watch the pulls as they happen, enjoy, you'll be able to see the numbers better.
http://www.performance-dyno.com/New%...ance-Dyno.html copy and paste the link to see if it works, if not you'll have to do it from the begining.

yeah, i heard you honk, i saw a silver car don't know if it was you but i figured it might be the guys i met on saturday, turns out i was right. I wish i had a stronger engine, i'm sure i could crank out a ton more power but i have to go easy on this one, it's impressive to see though.

Nice! A lot of my friends swear by Demon carbs for forced induction....they're basically Holleys with all the retarded power valve #!#!#!#! fixed...I'd look into them. Sucks; I just sold my 750 Street Demon...would have been tits for your app.

What are you running for a cam?

the stock zz4 cam, 474 intake 510 exh. 208 intake and 221 at .050 lift, nothin radical and i'd be better off with more lobe seperation but i had a limited budget. I ran a demon and didn't have great luck, i'm glad you're worked out but i've heard a lot of horror stories about them. picture of the dyno sheet is up under the VB host
