She's actially heartless right now. The 390's in the garage.
There was originaly a 360 in it but that got transplanted into my '72 F250 XLT Ranger. The 390 came out of the '72. '72 is from FL and the '68 is from Sacramento CA. '68 is a base model but in so much better shape. You could practicle eat off the under side of it.
I need to get the '72 running. After the transplant I could not get the known running 360 to run. Gave up for the winter and gotta get back to it. Might be an "old gas" issue.
As for the 390. I's like one HP per cubic inch and torque should end up higher than that. I do need to do the build on a budget. So far I have a stock '75 F250 360/390 4bbl intake and carb. Was hoping to have a good flowing set of heads from one of the 3 motors I have but all 3 have the stock headsBut its nothing a port job can't cure. I just have to figure out how to port them. at least I have at least one practice set
