    Hey everybody

Just found this website, thought I'd introduce myself and get acquainted with everybody. I'm currently wrenchin on a '91 240sx, gonna try to get it ready for some auto-x/drift action and maybe some HPDE's or actual racing if I'm lucky enough. Right now I'm trying to finish cleaning up the chassis and putting the motor back together(have to get it machined first tho). In the meantime I've assembled a JAW O2 and a Megasquirt and hope to use those along with a custom intake manifold making use of a set of GSXR throttle bodies. I'll try to post up some pics of the car(beware, it's still in ricer form from the previous owner!!) when I get a chance but this was just a post to say wats up and put down a lil info.

Yea, I havent seen many people do it on the sohc for cheap so I thought I would try. I got my throttle bodies for like $50 and I assembled the megaquirt myself and I'm going to make the manifold myself. The only thing is that I dont really know wtf I'm gonna accomplish with it. I'm rebuilding the engine, but just a basic rebuild. I dont have crazy compression pistons or an insane ported head with 280 cams so i dont know how the motor will react to the set up. This is basically just a project for me to tinker and to get my car built up and ready to race.

Here it is the day I bought it after I spent most of the day washing it. Check out the 19's and monster truck ride height.

damn itb's would be nasty, i've seen a couple ka24's, but dohc, with the setup. why not at least swap a dohc motor in it and scrap the single slammer? dohc responds better to mods and you can get a fair amount of power out of the n/a from what i've seen. you can probably also pic one up for a smile and a handshake as well.

because everybody does up the dohc, and I got my extra sohc for a case of beer. So I'm building this one up now, just basic nothing spectacular, and if anything goes wrong I still have my original engine for parts n watnot. I dont plan on keeping the sohc in for long, just for this year then next year the LS1 is goin in and then I'll actually have an engine.
