New to the site, not the game

Hello all,

I hail from Southern Minnesota, but originally Phoenix. I'm moving up to the Nor' east next spring. I've been wrenching on cars since I was 5 (so 21 years now) and professionaly since 2000. My past stablemates were an 80 malibu, 90 Corrado G60, and currently a 78 Fiesta 1600 and 84 Audi coupe GT w/ 5 cyl and close ratio 5 speed. Haze, beat me, insult me, I don't care. Can't hurt my feelings

We get hella cold straight from the artic circle, over 100F in summer, horrid wind chills (-40F is norm in jan-feb) and we have no terrain or ocean. A warm day without humidity over 80% and no wind does not exist here. Anytime is "could" be a nice day, the wind ruins it.

It's extremely crowded (everyone is moving there). It's gets very hot in the summer. But the good news is, you can run summer tires year round!

Looks good. When I went to a 19MM belt conversion and reduced rate pulley on the Glader, I kept stripping the timing gear notch. I eventually sold the car to a friend for $2k. I blew the clutch at Firebird. My left front fender marker was smoke tinted due to the leaking connection on my intercooler lol. I cut a hole thru the driver's inner fenderwell so air funneled thru the intercooler could exit into the fenderwell. It worked great until I drove over some fresh-oiled asphault
