and no this is a older engine out of a van just bought car have to get casting number to get exact details

Well, if it has the centerbolt valve covers, that means it's post 1987, or at least the heads are, and it's probably got a roller cam in it. The block casting numbers you need are on a pad behind the intake manifold, by the distributor, and you'll need to pull the valve covers to get the exact numbers to find out what heads you have. If you can get those numbers, I can get ya all kinds of info.
