Well it's being a c u n t ever since I swapped the motor in. The white on in my Sig is a 83 Gti , the rear end rusted out so I bought the rabbit to swap everything into. Gti dyno'd 90 whp 120wtq , ran a 16.2 at the track. When I did it swap I went all Polly , motor mounts and suspension mounts. Head got a port match ,valve job , shaved head , Techtonic valve springs /cam gear/intermediate gear . Already had 272 cam, mk2 TB port matched intake , mk2 4:2 manifold, mk2 radiator , rokkor coilovers. Custom widened rabbit steelies 13x7 & 13x8 .

I think that's about it. Right now it runs and drives but has no power and a/f is off the gauge lean. Been trying to figure out the issue for 8 months or so.

What injectors are you running? I'd love to come check it out and stuff, it sounds mean at idle anyways!

It's CIS, mechanical injection. Only one type of injector , no size options . There really just valves that open under pressure .

Once my Forester is done I'll be towing down to HM Motorworks . He has a old BMW guy who is very confident in his CIS knowledge . I'm done messing with it, time to let a professional do it.

None of that stuff makes any sense to me I suppose, but I'm not too deep into tuning. I'm still getting the hang of the basics anyways. That thing will scoot with the right tune I'm sure though, it doesn't take much with those! What's with the Forester?

Thanks guys! Nothing about my jeep yet, will be getting a 4.5" lift when my buddy's garage clears up so he can pull it out of his. Then I will get a bunch of pictures but for now here's a picture of my jeep next to the one the lift is coming out of

Hey, got to start somewhere. Right?

I'd love to have something to do some off Roading in. They sell all types of stuff for the Forester, lifts, big bull bars and stuff..lol

LIFT IT! hahaha that would be awesome!

                      sooo new focus stuff

Tranny mount is in already, seems like a decently spent 24 dollars or so. Brakes will be a bit, can get the fronts in probably this week but i want a little more height for the rear install. it can be done with my jacks but a lift is preferred.

I'd need a big lift considering I lowered it like 5 inches with the Sti suspension ..lol

Polly trani mount FTW , how's it feel?

little more shaky, honestly it just made the shifting feel slightly cleaner. i read if i had a stock shifter it would stiffen up a lot more but mine is far from stock height

It should help your motor not twist under acceleration and depending on how your shift linkages are, it will keep you aligned for shifting under load. But that's only if you have solid linkages I believe not cable . Should put power to the ground quicker as the motor isn't moving first.. and then the wheels. Look out for extra wear and tear on your other mounts though. Having the one more solid will put more strain on the other mounts.

Actually, I did chirp second yesterday and didn't even make the connection. (With r1r's on the front it doesn't do that anymore)
