don't get me started, this isn't a rant thread.... that new fackin speed limit on the lake is ab redic stupid.... why not enforce the one that was already there?! i have yet to get pulled for anything other than my boat was to loud, asked to come by patrol HQ for a sound test, but to do the sound test i have to do WOT passes, and THAT would break the speed limit, so..... i said forget it and never went.

Any chance, you being a boat guy, you'd know someone willing to throw 5psi boost on my 496HO? how much it'd cost (labor i mean, i know how much the supercharger kit runs)

reguarding the speed limit, yes its incredibly stupid.

another thats highly sought after is Dave Rosettii. Also located in Moultonboro. hes a good friend of mine. he was my teacher when i was in college but not doing that any more. very knowledgable boat guy. has done it all. 603-393-5658

another to go to is Reggie Monroe at Paugus Bay Marine. hes done some big boats and what not. kinda an old school guy but still knows his stuff. not sure how to get a hold of him other than calling PBM. 603-524-1233

Im in Laconia on Paugus. We usually throw a pretty epic bike week party. Were the house on the Blvd. with all the burnouts in front of it If you were around the first weekend last year it also would have been the house with half a dozen cruisers and a paddy wagon hanging about. Maybe datsunpilot will chime in and post the video he made of last years event.

As for boost on the boat, Id contact Mat Resca at Supreme Marine, he's a younger guy but he's sharp as hell and does great work. He's also real easy to get along with. All the motor swaps/work that have been done on Gold Digger (Outer Limits cat that lives on Winni most of the summer) were done by Supreme Marine.

For detailing locally, Id ask Jay Barton. He owns Van Works in Laconia. He used to on Lakes Region Mobile Shine; Im not sure if he still does detailing but he can 100% direct you to the best person around.

Yep, there's plenty of dock space and usually a pretty good party going on down there too. Plenty of water at the dock too - its about 18 feet off the end. Ive probably seen the boat out and about, were all over the lake. Ive got an older Formula 232LS. You may have seen it at HK if thats where you get your sleds, Im good friends with the Whally's who own the shop and the boat is stored there off season, they actually bought it new in 83 and I got it from them!

Welcome! Nice car, and boat. I live over on Newfound Lake. We've got an '83 Checkmate with a 350 in it. A lot smaller then yours, but still sucks down the gas lol. No speedlimits on Newfound yet! C'mon over
