Honestly im not that great. Its pretty much the basic stuff like doing tierods, ball joints, suspension stuff in genral and motor/ transmission swaps. Although I just recently started getting into doing transmission work but I don't really have any of the right tools for an accurate job. The rest is just dummy work like cleaning up, oil changes hahaa. Id like to learn more in a professional environment and I would have gotten a job at ira lexus as an apprentice but I guess I am too young

Right now I do this as a hobby. I don't typically work on anyone else's cars besides my own because confidence in my work is something I lack. It turns out great in my own cars but im always afraid I will mess up someone elses car so I leave it at my own stuff for now. Im not sure if this is something I would want to make a career out of yet

Yes, I recently just bought the red mr2 from bradford. I spent well over 2 1/2 hours scrubbing grime off it and im still not even done. It needs a starter, clutch line fixed and possibly an alternator since I was told it doesn't hold a charge but I found that the alt fuse was blown lol

strange.. haha thats where my brother was storing his white mr2 for the past 2 1/2 years... never would of suspected another one to be in that town.. theres only a few houses.. lol

and your not kidding about the white...

and you dont have to really good to do automotive work... certain things require a decent amount of practice to get it perfect, but for the most part ambition and patence is far more important. Theres a good amount of experience ranging all over the place on this site, from noobs to shop owners. Dont be afraid to ask questions, but be prepared for smartass remarks... sometimes we cant help ourselves...

Yeah it was pretty remote and them bam! An eye catching red mr2 with racing stripes out of the blue haha

It sucks that it sat for so long, the rust got it here and there. Trying to replace the bad clutch line but I dont have a flaring tool or any line and fittings.

I believe the guys name was Ray, im not positive though. I got the mr2 in Bradford but he put his address as somewhere in Manchester. Its funny, the car has been off the road since 2008 and I think I remember seeing a red car with racing stripes years ago, and of course now I own it lol
