it is a pretty decent turbo just wish i went external wastegate with it because it has given me so many problems. what kind of power are you looking to make?

I never had it tuned. It also didn't put down numbers I expected. It never really ran well in the winter, always fuel cutting. I sold it before I could figure out the issue.

Oh yeah, that's Pete, from Performance Dyno.

Oh that sucks. Stock tune was always crap and led to many zoom zoom booms with mods. Chances are if you were on the stock fuel pump internals your car was on very limited borrowed time. Yep knew he looked familiar

Buddy of mine had cobb stage 2 and then got it tuned by Alex. It had corksport downpipe, racepipe and the rest of the exhaust corksport too. Also had upgrade fuel pump and of course intake. Made 282 on the dyno but had to bring it downsome because it was getting too hot on the road. We weren't very impressed. And then it started to zoom zoom boom

Yeah, at the time I sold it, the HPFP was just released. If I remember, they were also north of $500. I was getting real nervous. Part of why I sold her.

Could of been the stock turbo going. mine was done at 65000 miles which is fairly common for the car. Without meth and an aftermarket intercooler you will see knock retard all over the place on an aggressive tune thats probably why he brought it down

500? i got autotech (vw) internals for 250 back in 2011 lol that must of been the whole pump/core exchange.

                  I'm talking 2008-2009. I haven't had the car for 4 years now.

I personally think it was rings. Thing had insane crank case pressure. Blowing oil everywhere it could lol the car only had a couple thousand miles too. Almost new

What kind of power are you talking? 400whp is fairly easy to attain. I feel the same way about subaru sti's lol I see many people building those engines. I love that car regardless.

idk just saying lol almost everyone that i know that had a newer ms3 couldnt barely make 300whp without blowing them up or building them lol and ya sti's are the same really. they are such awesome cars but the motors like to go boom when you start toying with them
