So... I'm guessing your pretty handy working on these ?? I'm having a problem with my T-maxx taking off on me. I'll drive it around fine and then all of a sudden it goes WOT and takes off , and I can't stop it untill it smashes into something.

That would be great, I only just got home its 630pm. Got to get to sleep I work 3rd shift but maybe some time this week ? I'm leaving Friday for vacation so if not this week I won't be back till the 20th.

This weekend ill be working on the full size car. Picking up my head from the machine shop today and my adjustable cam gear and LW intermediate gear are waiting for me at my buddies shop. Then I should have everything I need to put the motor back together and time it. Hopefully lol

Just heading out the door now , getting the M3 inspected and then grabbing the head in Hudson.

It's all good, I went and got some work done before night.fall. cleaned up the.pistons and top of the block. I need to run to my brothers and borrow his hand held bearing press to get the motor mount out before I do the timing and stuff because I don't want to have any ove.that in the way. Hopefully one of the ends will be.the right size. I'll be.grabbing it.first thing tomorrow, he.doesn't know.yet though..lol


Car does look real good though, needs that drop for sure but your going to have.some rubbing issues. Stiffer springs should help though.

Do you have a spring compressor?

At my brothers, I have never needed it for lowering springs. I did the M3's in the driveway, did new struts this year in the driveway.

Fronts I just use my fat ass and compress them to get the tophat and mount on.






Not sure about your rears but the e36 ones just pop right out .
