i want to stay calm but that gets me every time lol! why does everybody build the engine first then go banana ape#!#!#!#! when a stock tranny with a baby clutch goes bye bye. would be nice to see someone else do it up proper and do tranny/axles and internals before throwing 200% power at the engine.

Doing a wrx proper would've entailed a 6spd swap, with rear diffs. Might as well buy a STi at that point.

People start with power adders because well, people want more power. Its' a direction that people take with cars that respond well to power mods, such as, but not limited to the wrx.

Upgrading the powertrain on the MY02 WRX isn't as simple as upgrading the clutch. They require an entirely new gearset and/or diff's to handle the power potential of the motor.

because go fast parts are usally much cheaper (not in the long run when you break stuff), and people want cheap to go fast

If you ever see the yellow painting on the corners near the entrance to BC where there used to be enough space to squeeze in a car you can thank my dad. He went to BC and ruined that parking spot for everyone else.
