    I may or may not have measured the space I had and found the biggest one that would fit in it, and it may have also been a lost cheaper than some of the more normal sized ones. But at least my air filter isnt bigger than my turbo (well blower).

              Sorry you had a hard time signing up if you sent a email i would have taken care of it for you. Glad to see your on now, love the sleeper. There used to be a local guy with a rear mount turbo set up on a cavalier.

                Yeah I totally broke my odd-even shift cable while pulling on an 05 GTO. 3 Engineers worked for 3 hours to get it jammed into 3rd to race home (3rd is a great road race gear and launch-able on steep hills, <3 boost). But in the end I had to get towed back to Worcester by a total beater of a flatbed truck from New Salem Mass. I honestly dont feel like pulling carpet, more interior than I already pulled on the side of the road (actually got a center console out this time, long story, ask a saturn own about me), the ABS, and master cylinder to fix the cables. It shouldnt be too bad for them as we did 40% of the work on replacing the cables for them.

                      Well that's a neat project. Welcome. How different is the engine/sc setup compared to a Ion redline or Cobalt SS?

                        Almost exactly same. My head has slightly less open ports, and its stroked 0.2 Litres with non-forged internals. The pulley setup and blower/intake manifold are right off the ss/sc. Oh and now I'll be running an ss/sc alternator because mine died. It didnt appreciate being spun backwards (because of the different blower belt routing), so the LSJ one is a higher output and will actually be spun the correct way. I swear this car doesnt normally break this often. Though now its starting to feel like a dsm.

                                Well I did get the alt changed today. Only took an hour and 15 minutes in a poorly lit parking garage (final resting point of car) with some tools I fit in 2 pockets. Not bad if you think that I had a bolt that I had to get from the bottom which I couldnt see because I cant get my head under the front bumper with the wheels on the ground, though I totally took a bolt out that holds the a/c in by accident (couldnt see) then took 5 minutes to figure out why the alt still felt bolted in. Hopefully I'll get it pop started tomorrow and drive home to put in my new heat exchanger to replace my garrett svt cobra one that the flat bed guy demolished (but it doesnt leak, how?). Oh and install my dual pass end plate. Then hopefully have the car all buttoned up and back to worcester by a decent hour on wednesday and register for devens this sunday.
