I wish! They are actually a DPE knockoff. I don't remember the actual manufacturer, but they are light, a bit more affordable and obviously much better looking than my current wheels. I grabbed them last fall from a friend who had only put about 3000 miles on them for a steal, but never got around to test fitting them until two days ago. Even though the offset is correct for my car, they sit too far in, so I just ordered 15mm spacers for the front and rear. Add getting my coilovers this coming week and I should have a nice stance in about a week. Let's hope. Getting parts has been a nightmare for me.

I have known you for ages, but it never pains me Steve. I probably should have posted here ages ago, but always browsed. Our chat today made me do it lol.

I've also had the pleasure of meeting Mr Shawn on the highway for an evening ride of fun. But I'll leave the rest to him lol.

Thank you to everyone for the kind welcome.

I went with the BC Racing coilovers based on price, availability, adjustability and reputation with some of the other manufacturers. I would have loved to go the H&R route, but the better set was closer to $2200 and I just didn't have that to spend. A problem I've run into with a few dealers is that a lot of the coilovers out there are designed for the A4 and then passed on to the S4 w/o adjustments to the front springrates. I don't know the exact weight difference at the nose, but its quite a bit between the A4's 1.8t/2.0t and the S4's 4.2 V8. The set I ordered is specifically designed for the B6/B7 S4 so that's going to help me sleep a little better at night.

Steve and I were chatting today, my next big focus is brakes, and they have a HUGE price tag attached at just about any level.

I posted it up here after it happened, most already know. I quoted what you had posted in the stillwells thread. I don't remember where I posted it on here though.

I got rid of my BOV , so no more flames except maybe WOT shifts . I have a new bigger intake and a massive top mount. Unfortunately I'm in search of a new turbo again , trying to some how get the HTA68 .

Probably in the "Kills" forum Too bad about the turbo, but it will get there, just like any other project. Like I've repeatedly told people, I think the Forester is one of the best sleepers going. I'll miss all the angry that was ejecting from your muffler though. That was pretty epic that every time you passed someone and got on it they'd move over a lane or two for fear of you igniting there hood lol. We'll have to hit the track this year. I'm curious as to what my boat is actually pulling in the 1/4. I'm aiming for mid to low 13's with my current mods. With your mods you'll eat me alive, but the highway was fun. A night to remember lol.

I know The main reason I was sort of forced into them and not stay with my stock AVUS 18"s was I blew my two front tires 3 days after I bought the car, the stealership wouldn't replace them which was BS, and as I was looking for tires it was either $1000 for tires, or rims and tires for $750, and I was sort of low on funds after putting most of my money down as a deposit.

In my defense, when I ordered them, this is what they were supposed to look like.

No silver around the lip, and a little glossier than what they really are. But when I got them I couldn't complain because of the price for 4 18"s with tires.

I can't wait for the rest of my parts to come in. I want it stanced and rolling on my summer wheels by the 17th of this month so I should have pictures soon.

I do miss the backfire and flames also the psshhhh . I put the stock bpv on it it was a totally different car it was so uneventful ...lol but the car felt soooo much better. Found that I had a massive boost leak around the BOV . You know how you could hear it spooling
Wicked loud ?.. yea.. wasn't spoiling..lol that was the leak. That all went away with the bpv.
I don't think I put it in the kills section because I didn't really count it as a kill. I wish I could have seen that flame from your view though, all I got was a little pop. Lol Defiantly will hit the track, not to try for any crazy times . Not interested in any hard launching with the glass trani. Just for fun and see what I can get granny shifting.
