I just bought her last month so I have not had a chance to race her yet, but if weather permits this coming wednesday i definitely might go to the track.. do i need a helmet? Im not sure what speed/ time requires a helmet.

As far as performance mods go not too many, just the XO2 hks replica True dual exhaust, performance tires, and a K&N drop in. Money permitting im definitely interested in forced induction down the road.. my last car was an 87 944turbo and it got me hooked on boost.

if it is your first time to the track in a stock Z and you are any kind of nooby driver, dont expect to break 13's and need a helmet

with a good driver they run high 13's at around 100-103

13.99 or over 100 mph. You wont need a helmet unless the fairy comes out of your car also at 75 mph plus! Welcome!!!!!

I'd bring one just in case, I wasn't expecting to run under 14 seconds, but hey, I was glad I brought my helmet.


Play it safe, don't get there then get kicked out cause you don't have a helmet.

Yea my buddy was running deep into the 13s with intake and exhaust mods on his z at the track so you can bring one just in case as long as it is snell 95 or newer you should be alrite just make sure it says snell inside the helmet because they check for the tag instead of the stickers on the outside because people rip them off at stores and stick them on non snell helmets

im definitely not a nooby driver, im coming from an 87 944turbo putting down 18psi and 300 at the wheels.. but it definitely looks like im gonna need to buy a helmet before racing. I dont want to make one run, get high 13's, then not be able to race the rest of the night. I need a helmet anyways for NEdrift, i guess ill be buying one earlier.
