These are low resolution sample shots so they will not seem as crisp as they should. As for the Pantera, It's the best shot we had to work with.



The cover shot goes to the winner of car of the year. You won't (couldn't) have the cover and April (where Feb 2009 COTM will be) open at the same time so the same car being on both will not be an issue for you. Unless of course you're buying more than one calendar, in which case I'll allow you to bitch about it... Even though we're not going to change it. lol.

dan had some better shots of warrens car for sure than that side shot.

what i like about this is dan and i took most all the shots...except most are different cars...so there arent many conflicts, which is nice.

If you're really stuck on that shot, we can use it. I had emailed you and told you what shot we had chosen a while ago so I would have hoped that if you had an issue with it, you would have told me sooner.

We have a different one from a parking garage shoot picked out for Warren. That was just one that we were toying around with and have since decided against using it.

thats a pic i took of warrens car at the cruise as well. I would use his rolling shot, as his was one of the best pictures i took that day.

idk, some of the picture choices could be better. I had much beter pictures of the Pantera, as well as Warrens car, including a shoot i did with him. Andy has my harddrive and is basicly just digging through and going with what he finds. Maybe i should get together with him and pick out some good ones, since i know where they all are exactly.

not to sound like a dick but the main reason id like to do what i mentioned above is because, well, if my name is gonna be going on these pictures and they are gonna represent my work, i would like to have them be the best they could be. even some of the editing im not a huge fan of, but it doesnt look terrible.

You're welcome to come over and look at what I've got. I didn't see anything better for the Pantera.

warrens picture needs to show the whole car... that one is dumb. theres wayyyyyyyyyyyy better ones....

and i think we need a group shot somewhere in there... it would give it more of the "community feel" that way everyone (or at least a lot of people) feels like they're in it or a part of it.

The cover goes to Car of the Year, and every month is taken up by Car of the Month.

and even dan's STi could have a better picture showing most of the car... i mean.. a front bumper is kinda lame... haha. switch up the angles! they all seem to be the same drivers side angle in every picture

We're trying to put together the 2010 calendar, not the 2011 one. Hopefully we won't have issues like this with next year's.




Also, until I stepped up and offered to put this calendar together, it wasn't going to happen. If everyone else wanted to be part of building this thing, they should have stepped up a while ago. I'm doing the best I can with what I'm given. If everyone really wants to change everything we can, but it means waiting longer for a calendar that should have been done a couple months ago.

for warrens car, look in the "random#!#!#!#!" folder. Youll find in there somewhere the shoot i did with him. its obvious which ones are edited. also look for filenames "warrenhdr" cause those are some as well.

same thing for Dans Mustang. the shoot i did the pictures are in there. the edited ones are obvious.

as for the pantera...the few shots i had, although very sharp and vibrant...arent really what i thought they were. they are shots i snapped walking by it at one of the kanc cruises...like of like the ones of johns. I can send them if you want, but they arent my best work by a mile.
