haha yea good eye sir! I did so I could do the double din unit up top. It was a large PITA. Moving the HVAC was easy but making the double din fit was not was not. It hit the heater box when pushed in all the way so I had to adapt that as well blah. I felt the sunglass pocket was not too important, but the pocket is built into the switches below it so I cut it and made a bracket behind the 11 button controller and HVAC unit then a bracket for the double din bc its heavy. I like it tho I have never seen another e36 with a double din :-)

Nice, yea I saw double din. Was like oh cool, kept scrolling then it hit me. How the hell he do a DD ?? Lol scrolled back and zoom'd in . "ahhh"

I like it , Jess likes her pocket. Her XM controller is like built in to it.

Oh thats a good use for it. Do you have a aftermarket head unit, I assume so since E36 all came with cassette decks lol. I always wanted the 99 E36/z3 factory cd player for the single din just so the dash is all uniformed but they were expensive even used like $300.
