Thank you to all (NEMS Fall Cruise home trip drama)

Well made it home lastnight after much drama.....on a tow truck.

If anyone saw just before exit 23 on 93S I was on the side of the road. Blew out two tires on my drivers side at around 80mph and had my gas tank piecred. I have 1-2" chucks (holes) in the side wall of my rear tire and the front tire came off almost completely off the rim.

Firetrucks, ambulance, police showed up, 93 was down to one lane becasue of me. Most of you probably missed all tht because it took them FOREVER to get to the scene.

No clue what I hit, I talked to Shawn C. Later last night and he said he saw a deer on the left hand side with antlers sticking out in the road. Luckily my gf and I were ok, tires should be covered under road hazord (hoping) and I'll only be out a fuel tank which I'll install with help of a couple friends. Could have been worse, luckily everyone was ok and I made it home.

Would just like to throw out a thank you to all that helped out, there were several of you and you know who you are. Thank you very much, great group of guys here. Picutes to come of the damage.

BTW, great cruise. For the most part very fun and low key.

Anywho.... Dude that sucks about your car, I heard that another Subaru before you hit a deer. Maybe the same one?

I had to find this info out from Tim after everything happened. You sould of told me what was going on and I would of tunrned right around and helped u in anyway I could of. It didn't matter if i was already in manchester. I would of been there in a heart beat. I'm glad you were safeandnot harmed from anything. Let me know if I can help ya out with anything else that you may need for this.

Wow, that sucks! I drove past you guys but saw you had help already....felt bad for not stopping though.

As for the deer.... Dana with the RX7 was driving south right around where you guys were and was greeted by a herd of deer crossing 93. He couldnt stop, but managed to squeeze most of the car between two of them. One got lucky, the other one not so. Deer's head hit the driver side fender, then smashed the mirror off. No major damage, but I'll guarantee that's the deer Shawn saw/possibly took you out!

Also sorry I didn't stop. I was going by at 80 in the left lane and there were a couple cars in the right. Couldn't get over in time, but there were 3 or 4 cars there so I knew you had help.

I saw one dead deer on the left side of 93 last nite too. must have been before you saw it.

Wow Chad! That is crazy! Glad you were able to get it stopped and off the road safely with two tires out! If I saw you I would have gladly helped you out with my AAA. I know you saidyou have road hazard protection, but you may be able to get the tires and fuel tank covered with your motor vehicle insurance.

Glad you are ok- I drove past but I saw a bunch of people pulled off to help already.

I always feel sketched out driving fast at night up north.. I really don't want a deer through my windshield.
