ive been going to capital for years... it used to be REALLY good... i used to get awesome deals to flip, but recently its gotten more popular what with the economy and such, so its a lot more crowded. the cash for clunkers thing also lowered the amount of cars that it has, people would do that instead of donate them, so its really hit or miss.

if you're looking for something to drive, and don't mind doing a little to a lot of work on it, then its good. if you're looking to flip, its getting harder and harder. good luck getting anything foreign or anything domestic with low mileage, people snag those up right away.

they also have a LOT of consignment cars, which have a set price put by a dealer that they cant sell on the lot etc, and they aren't worth it, and take forever.

truthfuly, its seen better days, but its still worth checkin out. and if you have cash, don't bother getting a bidding number for $200... it takes forever to get one because you stand in line, and if you don't get anything, it takes forever to get your money back because you stand in line... FOREVER. i usually just give them the $200 cash if i bid and win on anything, and then pay the rest when i go to fill out the paperwork (which also takes FOREVER)

its always a good show, and i find it quite amusing what people will pay for junk that don;t know any better. once in a while you'll get something rare that goes through, but if it goes through earlier in the day, it will be a big price.

i think they start at like 11am (but it doesnt really start till after noon) and goes for a few hours.. i usually roll in late, because nowadays its pointless to be there early, too many people throwing money at stupid stuff.

if you want to go there, let me know! i'd be happy to go with you.

i'm not sure about the other place, though. i've only been to capital.
