2010 New England Pond Hockey Tournament

anyone here that plays hockey interested?..its a 4 on 4 tourney...no goalies..in Meredith on the Big Lake...

$500 a team..but in the open division you can have up to 6 people(open division is all like ex college, Ams and pros though...lol)

the just for fun division is 8 per team...so if we got enough people we could make it affordable for everyone


although i dont know how many people actually play hockey here...lol

ive never skated a day in my life haha. if it was street hockey i'd do it, i used to all the time! but id be down to watch if you get a team together. sounds fun!

im seriously thinking about doing this..

maybe get some sponsers together?...maybe they could help with the entry fee or something.

ive also posted this on YuppieRacing and Facebook...and have some interest from both. One of the guys on YR said he actually has a place up there that we could practice at thats not too far from Meredith. I saw this the other day and got to thinking about how much fun it could be. And especially if we do the Just For Fun division...then we can have up to 8 people on the team..so that could make it reasonably affordable for everyone, and your guaranteed at least 4 games...as well as food and a beer tent and such.

i miss hockey, i havent strapped the skates on in 5 years and im a goalie soooo im useless...

last time i played as a forward i broke my collar bone twice in one season haha...

but im down for pickup games sometime im dying to put skates on, been thinkin bout it for a couple years just cant see myself jumpin in a pickup league, just wanna skate some ponds

i have always wanted to play hockey, but never got the chance to. i learned to skate recently so i figure ill just keep practicing then when im like 50 ill try to play in an old farts league so i wont seem so #!#!#!#!ty.
