i dont think there wuld be any point in tuning a stock car, you may want to get a full exhaust and drop in before getting a tune. Also, look into Accessports, they are the way to go if you dont tune yourself, or have someone else. They have preloaded maps which are great, not amazing but safe and powerful.Comment

she was talking with a guy she ran into at her work that has the same car and he got his tuned all stock and got some decent gains i guess. eliminated a bunch of lag somehow and upped his gas milage by like 3mpg. the cobb sounds like a real good idea to me. i would be doing any mods like exhaust, intake yada yada myself so the cobb will probably be best since we can change maps as we do mods05 Evo VIII-for cruising/weekend warrior

anyway, get the accessport. it will make a difference, not anything huge, but it will give the car a better power band as well as probably around 15hp and 15tq. the upper end of the rpm's is where the most difference will be noticed.Current car: 07 STi 331whp 376wtq

probably getting the ap. yea her car has it but she wants more power. from what ive seen on the ap site you get 27whp on an unmodified legacy when you download the stage 1 map05 Evo VIII-for cruising/weekend warrior

the tune probably ups the boost which is where most of the power comes from.Comment
