    And that is good info, thanks. I just gave it a quick look over today and it seemed very well maintained and clean, but Ill ask a #!#!#!#!load of questions.

      You asked what to look for so I gave you the tranny's which get a little better from 2004+. The 02-03(bugeyes) are known to be the most problematic.

            I figured out where you guys were talking about in manchester! I drove by tonight in case any of you saw me. I was going to turn around but then this MKIV jetta 1.8T kept letting off his blow off valve so we played a little then got on the highway and did a few not official high speed runs (neither of us beeped or lined up that great just kept going at similar times). But tomorrow seems very possible, for a bit atleast.
