we are in the middle of working out something to skate at the Verizon before a Monarchs game, and have to sell a certain number of tickets. Who would be interested in coming? details are kind of like this
We have to get to the arena (and get good parking too!!!) about 4 hours early. players go down to assigned locker rooms, spectators are escorted to the sections right behind the benches where they will watch the game. we get an hour on the ice, with referees, clock, scoredboard going, and the game gets recorded and players can also purchase the DVD recorded by the Verizon Wireless Arena's "Media Team". After, players change, meet up with friends/family, and are seated in the upper bowl section all together for the game ( you can also leave if youd like, but for the price, you cant beat it).
Tickets are no around $15 (depending on how many people we have going), and also include a voucher for foor (a hot dog and a soda, or something else, nothing expensive, but its better than regular arena pricing).
AND IF YOU ARE UNDERAGE, DO NOT THINK ABOUT SNEAKING IN BEERS TO THE STANDS!! YOU WILL BE CAUGHT AS IT HAPPENED TO A KID LAST YEAR!! Security monitors the games, espeically when they have a pregame skate with teams that have some over and under 21 year olds. he was assumed to be consuming alcohol by the security guard on duty, and was escorted by security to awaiting Manchester police officers downstairs. Please, if you plan on attending, keep it clean and be responsible so we do not run into an even like we did last week. Thank you
