    Audio installers in NH?

Hey all, I recently owned an '06 Jetta. I had an Alpine deck, JL VR series speakers, and a JL 12" sub in it. I had it all removed and returned the Jetta to stock as I'm trading it in tomorrow for the new GTi. When the guy was reinstalling all the stock audio, he pointed out quite a few things the orig installers did wrong. I had the orig work done at Audio Experts in Dover.

Does anyone have a good reliable installer in New Hampshire that I could go to to have the new install done in my GTi?

well, when they removed the stock speakers, they damaged the passenger side Tweeter, so it doesn't work anymore.

When they installed the JL Coaxial in the rear passenger door, it was mounted too high, and put a lot of pressure of the outer rim of the speaker (luckily it didnt tear).

There were a number of other things, cant remember what they were though.

and when they did the original install of the JL Amp and Sub, they didn't set the amp properly, and it blew my sub 1/2 way through a road trip from NH to Cleveland, OH. >

I would love to do a DIY, but i have no clue what i'm doing as far as installing a Deck, 4 speakers, 2 Amps, and a sub goes :P

I just called Tweeter in Newington. They don't have an installer atm, so he said he could get me all set up w/pricing and the 4chan amp i need for my speakers, and then send me to Portland, ME for the install.

Now my dilemma is, which do I do first, AWE Tuning Exhaust, or get my $2k stereo installed in the new car. :| Since I can only afford to do either/or atm.

I live in Brookfield, which is about an hour from Laconia.

Where ever I go to get it all installed, I have to drive an hour to do it. >_< Damn this state and having to drive 40+ mins to get anywhere.

First thing I'm gonna do tomorrow after I get the paperwork on the GTi signed, I'm gonna go down to Audio Experts and see what they can do to replace the Coaxial that got damaged due to the poor installation that they did.

I'll post pics of the speaker tomorrow if I can.

Other than that one thing, they did a good job with the install.

Question though, what would sound better?

the GTi has the Premium Audio System already in it. Should I just install my Deck and Amp/Sub and leave the stock speakers? Would cost a lot less to do that rather than install the 4 JL speakers, buy a 4chan amp for them, and get that all installed too.

Heh.. I guess Boomers in Nashua isn't around any more? I had all my stuff installed by them. Knew Alan from the Manchester store, and the lead installer Ryan LeBlanc from high school.
