hurricane mtn sucks compared to this

I took my bike out with some guys on the SVrider.com forum today and the Burke mountain ski area accsess road is just like hurricane mountain except there are no bumps and easily 4 or 5 more super blind corners like hurr. plus a beautiful view at the top and if you had walkie talkies, send one guy up then you can block the road and not worry about traffic going the other way! its way more intense. I'm thinkin we should do a run up there next time, there are some sick back roads to cruise down, lots of switchbacks. let me know what you think

up in northern vermont off of rt 112 i believe, no video, one guy did take some video and i'll keep checking the other forum to see if he posts a link to it. if people want to check it out on bikes first i'm up for another ride. it's prolly another hour north of the kancamagus.

VT = FTW.... we did rte 100 last year, only half, tuned into an all day affair, but i wont go back until i can get a hotel and spend the night, and making sure someone is behind me with a pickup in case someone goes insane and down, and we can make a whole weekend trip out of it

It's actually right off of route 91, then get on Vermont route 114 and that'll take you to Burke Mountain. If you take Exit 23 off 91 North toward Lyndonville and take a right at the bottom of the exit ramp, drive through Lyndonville and on to East Burke, through that, you'll pop out at Burke Mountain. My Grandpa's house is about 15 minutes from there, from Concord NH it's about 2 and a half hours if you take a piss break. And yeah, it's definitely a killer road--but I still don't think it compares to Hurricane (and Hurricane is free, IIRC Burke Mtn. has a small toll fee).

As a side note, I drove through Yosemite national park about a week ago and on parts of route 1 through Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Woods in Cali last week---that #!#!#!#! is unbelieveable. Most road signs suggest 15-20mph, it's all hilly switchbacks, and I pushed the Yaris rental we had like a rented mule .

there is also the app gap in vt that is really fun there is acually a vtrides cruise going on the 27th. Wicked twisty and really a nice view at the top for parking for like 20 cars we filled it last time. the turns are crazy u-turns the downhill is a little freaky you can get brake fad reall easy if you don't watch it.
