Okay, so I spend all day sunday pulling the tranny, replacing the throw out bearing, and putting the tranny back in. Went for a road test, left my house on lake ave, turned down beech st., got to the intersection just before s. Willow. When I pushed in the clutch pedal, the car stalls. Try starting it, cranks slow. So I disconnect the clutch switch and start in neutral without the clutch pedal and it starts right up. Push in the clutch pedal and it dies. DAMNIT!! I have thursday - tuesday off, so I'm pulling the tranny again and tring to figure out what happened as well as replacing the clutch and shift fork. Ill let everyone know what I find.

P.s. Anyone that's ever pulled out a DSM tranny. There are holes on both tabs on the T.O.B. As well as holes on the shift fork. Is there supposed to me a pin of some sort? I could not tell from the last one, it was shredded laying in the bellhousing. I can send pics if you text me with your phone number.1995 Eclipse GST - ~~~~

Its called a TOB Clip, I have one and you can have it. This is the clip that holds the throwout bearing to the release fork.Nick Fiorentino

I've never so much as driven a DSM but on most of the cars I work on there's a plastic pivot pin for the fork that wears out a lot, is there something like this and if so, did you replace it already?AVA Restoration Services - Dublin, NH

I got a clutch fork and pen from Mike Rizzotti and a pin that holds the T.O.B. to the fork. What I need to do not that I should have done the first time is put washers behind the pivot ball. I am thinking like 13 washers will do, haha. But really I am done if this doesn't fix the problem. I will be probably be cracking at it all weekend.1995 Eclipse GST - ~~~~
