how much does a house or rent costs and what is the expected pay for a mechanic with 5 years experience. I am gauging what my options are. Vermont is to expensive to live and i have a family now and need to do something about it.

a good house is roughly 210k-300k i guess. apartments for rent are like 800-1000 if you don't wanna live in a #!#!#!#!ty area, at least manchester/nashua/concord wise. mechanic of 5 years all depends on where you wanna work, dealership, shop?

My parents pay $14k a year in Henniker, and that is for ~8 acres... That is just the taxes, not including the mortgage. I seriously don't know how the fluck they manage.

yeah we have a lake front property that's family owned roughly 600k, but if it was a house, say up along the road from where it is away from the lake i'd say it'd probably be about 500k imho. northern real estate seems to be just an ass reaming.

vermont sucks the crappy apartments are like 700-800 a month or 1000 and up for a decent one. Housing isn;t much better. 225-300k is the average in and around burlington. With crap for a yard or anything. I was told that the cost of living in nh was down compared to vt. yeah you have property tax suck but you have no state tax on all you goods like us 7%. But yearly property tax in and around burlington is about 3k a year. What is the averaage pay for your general shops or dealerships

i was a tech for around two years and was getting 14 an hour flat rate.

i know my uncle at ford makes well over 20 an hour flat, but he's been there forever, like 15 yeras or more maybe. other than that i had a couple other buddies when i worked at mercedes making 14-15 an hour flat rate for the first year and they were there training basically.

thats still a dollar more then me but i work at a small shop. I like it there thats why i don;t want to leave. I can screw around with my boss and can goof off but it's a laid back shop. My boss only cares about me getting my work done and i always do and some of the other guys to.

i get 20 hr flat rate.... but i was honestly making more when i was getting 16/hr flat rate at the dealer cuz i was pulling 60+ hrs a week no prob....here i struggle to make 35! ( starting to get more busy lately) theres a couple guys at my place making $25+ flat
