Sweet. I'll go check it out. Yeah let me know when you'd wanna get together. My schedule is pretty free, I dont have a job right now since I'm just visiting from Germany... So any time is good for me really
Matty has real pics(featured in a mag), and SupraEric obviously owns a mk4 supra so hes stuck up, dont listen to him. If youre up for it id love to have real pics of my car taken. Just gotta wash it first.

I have some pictures being featured in an upcoming mag too, also designed the add they are being featured in. Not automotive but still
I use a Nikon D3100 with the standard 18-55mm lense... I shoot in full manual mode when doing automotive/still photography.
I am still working with moving objects and getting my shutter speed/aperture perfect.
I enjoy doing HDR as well. I don't like the HDR photos that people modify up the ass that end up looking fake... but I do like the depth it gives to a photo when used mildly.
I have plans to obtain a couple different lenses, have a few in mind... but right now I have other priorities, with a baby on the way. Although I am building a photography portfolio and actively pursuing it, it's not my career focus atm, it is mostly being done because I enjoy doing it.

nothing wrong with that
when youre still starting out and fine tuning your skills and learning equipment...you don't need a lot of lenses.
i agree on HDR...theres a really fine line between good HDR and overdone.
photography is a really tough career now and that's where i misunderstood your original post.
i also do it for fun.
