I also don't' 100% agree with that, because I don't think of a nice set of rims (same weight/no wider), or a non-performance orientated lowering spring setup, etc, as Rice

Rice to me is tacky #!#!#!#!. It's like if I went into best buy and started hammering on the drums. It'd sound like ass, but maybe I would think I sounded good because I know nothing about music per se. It's the same way with rice.. people who modify their car in a generally thrown together or tasteless manor.

If I had to do a definition in one sentence, that'd be it right there. I mean, I have a CF hood, a set of nice wheels, and I'm lowered with the Grand Am right now. IMO, that's not rice, I do my modifications tastefully, I don't spend a few $100's at PepBoys to look cool.
