Yes your right it is getting colder but that has nothing to do with building or modding cars. Im a die hard custom guy or performance guy, what ever you want to call it. Dont get me wrong I dont drive me G35 in the winter, but I do use the winter time as a nice couple month window for me to work on it. The car is in the garage on jack stands getting mods that I cant do over the summer because it would take the car off the road to long. Just because its winter is not a excuse for "not being in the seen" imo. Sorry but im in it 110% not 50%(just a summer car guy) I love cars and paint all the time, not just because its nice out. I love this stuff all the time

We drift in the winter still... We plow an area on and ice/snow drift... If I can drive my g35 in the snow everyone else can take there car out and have fun too.

Just because its cold doesnt mean anything. I see pleanty of modded cars around in the winter.

At this point people from maine fail.

Still got my Solstice on the road and will do so until they start salting, then it goes into the garage until late March early April. Got some clutch work to do on it this winter. The supercharger I installed in the Spring seems to have mysteriously eaten my clutch disk and weakend the pressure plate for some unknown reason. I guess the stock clutch was only rated at 185 lb/ft of torque and I'm pushing over 240 at the wheels...so time to upgrade. Just wish my garage was heated.

Oh I don't call it quits in the winter haha, I was just stating the obvious (with the temperature). The project car has been dormant for two years now so I will be/have been working on that. The daily sucks up the snowy season (though she'll be getting a lot of attention in the spring).

You should bring your Subie out autocrossing next season. We have a couple members in the club that compete that have different models of Subies that they drive. You'll get a chance to see how well your car handles at certain limits. You can also go for a ride along with some of our more experienced drivers if you don't want to compete just to see what it's like. It's a lot different in the seat versus watching on the side.
