Alex's Lemonade Stand: Take II (07/31/12)

Hey guys, last year I posted this up very late, and a few people regretted the fact that they couldn't make it; now's your chance!

Please join us on Tuesday, July 31st from 10am-2pm for our 2nd annual Alex's Lemonade Stand. This year's stand is dedicated to the world's best dad/stepdad. Shortly after our lemonade stand last year, Brian received his own cancer diagnosis. Last year, cancer was a "thing" that the kids didn't quite understand. This year, they are very aware of what cancer is and why a cure is so very important! Please stop by and have an ice cold glass of lemonade and join in the celebration!

My wife Katie and I have known the Bourque family for years. For those of you that attended our wedding, you'll recognize Jack (the ring bearer), and his Parents Jenn and Brian. The kids have a lemonade stand every year to raise money for cancer through the organization called, Alex's lemonade stand. Last year they raised over a thousand dollars and they are trying to match it again this year. This year it hits closer to home for them because over the past year their dad was diagnosed with cancer but after some aggressive treatment has been deemed cancer free. Please consider helping them achieve their goal, you can donate to their website directly or come by their lemonade stand in litchfield next tuesday from 10-2!!!! All the kids on the block love seeing older kids with their cool cars, so show up and grab some lemonade and cookies for a good cause. Let me know if you need any more information..

Ugh, why in the middle of the day on a Tuesday? I'll have to see if I can skip out for lunch and swing by.
