LOL no last year I believe a STI did 114. I'm hoping 105-110 in my S60R. I am not planning to dump the clutch or abuse it in any way. I'm heading up there at around 7 hoping to be there at 8:30 or so.

Last year when I was there the fastest 4cyl was an AWD Eclipse. It ran 104. The other AWD eclipse ran 103.

Mkulrey and I in our Cobalts ran 100 even.

I don't know what the overall fastest was in the rain.

So I only ran once. It was a huge turnout with hundreds of cars and spectators. I hit 95 in the 3/16th mile without clutch abuse. Only about 10 cars hit 100 or above. The biggest surprise was a 90s Mitsubishi Mirage which had AWD and a huge turbo. I believe it hit 120 on its second run. That thing was a rocket. Many muscle cars had horrible starts or couldn't find traction.

the mirage was a 4G63 swap (Evo 3 body) and a 35r i believe he told me on 4 slicks!!

Yup. He had 4 slicks. It just took off and never stopped accelerating. With the smoke it really looked like a rocket.

I'm not sure. I saw a bunch of Hondas embarrassing themselves. Like when the tuned up Mustang stated to rev its engine in front of me. Then a Honda right next to it started to rev his engine. The exhaust rattled so bad I thought it was going to designate. I also loved how they did burnouts. Shift into reverse floor it, shift into first and do a burnout. Must be great for the tranny.
