I'll be paying a penalty since the car was $800 but it's so worth it.

This is what I'm thinking ken how much would the penalty be for me to take my supra. Like 100$ or something

what if you get pulled over for a possible fix it ticket on the car or a regular speed trap/drunk stop, you aren't breaking the law but you have to open that envelope?

on another note i might be in for this as a navigator/co-driver...

        ^- Thats a good point.

New to this forum and heard about this event from Dave. Looks like a really fun event and for a good cause.

I can understand why the exact location is not disclosed but is there an approximate starting point so I could get a feel of where things are kicking off? Just curious.

Yes the meeting place is the southbay mall in Boston. I have mapped out a route that is approx. 500 miles.

          Eric which supra? the mkiv?

Yea I am not going to try to be a mean person about the penalty, but it's for charity so don't be a jerk about it.

If you get pulled over for a fix it ticket.. you must show the ticket to me. and you will be fine. Also your car should be in good working order so a ticket shouldn't be given out.

eric consider it's 10-15 bucks for every 100 over the official 500 dollars.. I know what you have into it. So unless you need a huge tax deduction use the integra or something else you have.

If that's the case I can sink $500 into the penalty and just drive my own car.

I prefer people to drive the cars in which they buy for under 500 dollars. If you are crazy enough to drive your own car. you will be penalized heavily. and Eric multiply your guess by 8 or 9 and that's your penalty..

yes you can write it off since it's for charity. but as I said before I don't want regular cars on the rally. If something happens to them because a 500 dollar car loses something or blows the engine. I do not want to be held responsible.
