I'd look into getting a burn permit, we always got one. So when a neighbor calls and says theres a fire they will have record that your having a fire.

We would go to an apartment complex and snag all the old christmas trees, we had 3 truck fulls 1 year. I have a pic of my dads truck full up to the latter racks. But we would douse them in Kerosen and make some Napalm... Good times.

no burn permits required with adequate snow coverage. You must notify the local dispatch center or fire department letting them know you are burning and supply them with the address so if they do recieve any calls they will not have someone come out to investigate

LOL called the fire dept. No permit needed if there is snow surrounding the area to prevent it from spreading.
